VI UIAA, 11 Pitches
Field Notes - Rozsnyó Valley
In the mountains of Romania, we waited for the weather to open a window. The limestone walls of the Rozsnyó Valley were soaked for days — two dry ones were all we got. We made them count: VI- and VI UIAA lead climbs on 180 m and 190 m routes, with the Bucegi Mountains in view. Evenings meant bivouacs in the forest — no reception, no noise, just the wind moving through trees. Quiet, committed days on wet stone turning dry.
