Life of Rescued Horses

Photographed over several years through patient observation, this series documents the everyday lives of horses rescued from abuse, neglect, and slaughter. Each image captures a fragment of their regained freedom — moments of rest, movement, and quiet connection. At this lifetime sanctuary, the horses are no longer at risk. Instead, they live with space, safety, and dignity — and the subtle behaviors I followed with my lens now speak of resilience and trust rebuilt over time.
